Its called Paradise! Located on the northwest side of the Caloosahatchee River is Cape Coral. It contains 115 square mile of land area, and is the second largest city in Florida.  Incorporated in August 1970, the Cape continues to grow rapidly, in part due to a growing job market and retail community, a comparatively low crime rate, and spectacular weather, with an average yearly temperature of 74 degrees.

Cape Coral was built about 40 years ago by two land speculators, the Rosen Brothers, who believed that the property's location on the Gulf coast provided endless opportunities for waterfront living.  With over 400 miles of canals, Cape Coral is truly a waterfront paradise.

Cape Coral boasts many family-oriented facilities.  Sun Splash is a large waterpark, offering 12 acres of water slides, pools, food and fun. You can enjoy canoeing, kayaking or the walking trail at the Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve.  The Cape Coral Sports Complex provides fields for soccer, baseball and softball. There are also parks to play shuffleboard, racquetball or fly a radio-controlled airplane or enjoy riding your BMX bike at the track.  Or simply enjoy the sunset over the water at the Cape Coral Yacht Club Beach and Pier.
