| A native of northern Virginia, I relocated with my family to Cape Coral in 2001 to enjoy the tropical climate and lifestyle of Southwest Florida. Before moving to the Sunshine State, however, I enjoyed a career of more than twenty years in the Information Technology industry, which included a position as a Program Manager for worldwide defense systems. My work in Federal Service resulted in numerous decorations as well as honors and civilian commendations for service during Desert Storm/Desert Shield. A graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, I also attended the University of Maryland at College Park for a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Management.
Although my background in the corporate and government arenas is extensive, I've also experienced the hands-on, day-to-day challenges of running my own business.
